Aquavista signs new partnership in Austria for property for sale in Velden area

Aquavista is delighted to announce a new partnership in the Carinthia Region, in particular the area surrounding the lake Worther See and the town of Velden, situated between Villach and Klagenfurt.
Velden has an international reputation as Carinthia's most fashionable resort; its villas and hotels encircle the western end of the lake dominated by its palace and famous for its casino and promenade.
Sheltered from the northern Alps, the weather conditions of the area provide a pleasant, almost Mediterranean climate. Depending on the season, you will either see snow covered mountain tops or people enjoying themselves swimming in the lake.

In summer the air temperature reaches 35C and the clear water reaches 27C, whilst for the winter you are just a very short journey to the Austrian or Slovenian Alps for winter skiing.
